FAQ
1 These are the General FAQ's, where can I find Faq's on each Policy?
You can find the FAQ's for a policy on the information page for each Policy, click on the tab below the main square image and next to the description tab.

2 Can I purchase over the phone?
Yes you can, our Sales office hours are Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm or Sat 8.30am-1.30pm. The direct number for sales and Admin is 0333 200 4199 (freephone), give us a call and we will be pleased to help.

3 Where do I checkout? How can I pay?
You can Checkout by pressing Buy on the policy you want. You can then fill in your details and the date you want the policy to start. Once all details are entered you can checkout and pay with card or paypal in the bottom right hand corner of the checkout page.

4 Do Breakdown policies inc. Homestart?
Yes. We only sell policies that include Homestart, Roadside Assistance, Nationwide (European) Recovery and Onward Travel. We do not believe in having cheap inferior cover.

5 Are all prices shown inclusive of IPT?
Yes all prices shown include Insurance Premium tax. The price you see is all that you pay

6 Where can I find the Policy Wordings?
On each policy page you will find links for a PDF showing the Key Facts and one for the Full Policy Wording for the cover provided by that policy. You will also be posted a full written copy once you have purchased

7 What do I do if I need to make a claim on a policy?
For Accident Assistance or any other Claims Call 0800 157 7273. Option 1 is sales, Option 2 is accident assistance, Option 3 is for breakdowns if your policy was bought on or before 28th February 2013 option 4 is for breakdowns bought after February 2013 We also have a direct dial Mobile friendly breakdown number 0333 200 4193

8 Are Driver Guardian FCA regulated?
Yes Driver Guardian is authorised and regulated by the FCA Registration number 546256, this can be checked at http://www.fsa.gov.uk/register/firmSearchForm.do or by calling 02070 661 000

9 How do Driver Guardian sell their policies at such good value?
Our company is set up by people with many years of experience in the insurance broker industry, vehicle repair industry and the internet industry. All this experience was brought together to create a business structure that is correctly set up, to give motorists help and policies they need, through a system of sales which enables us to sell high volumes which is very cost effective, allowing us to pass on the savings to our customers

10 Are the policies that Driver Guardian sell backed by a major insurance company?
Yes all our policies are underwritten. Our Breakdown policies by Inter Partner Assistance who are part of Axa Assistance, and our other policies by Ageas Insurance Limited.

11 Is my money safe with your Payment Method?
Yes, all payments are received via Pay Pal. Their security is of the best possible standard. Payments can be made once you are on the Pay Pal screen through your Pay Pal account or any with any Credit or Debit card by clicking on text ' I have not got a Pay Pal account '. For security you will have to enter your details again. All payment screens are SSL secured and the website has 3D Card protection.

12 What should I do if I have any other questions?
Email any questions to info@driverguardian.co.uk at anytime and we will reply. You can call during our office hours of 8.30 am - 5.00 pm on 0800 157 7273 (option 1 for sales) 2. You can also leave a message out of hours and we will return your call. You can also live chat up to 10pm week days. Breakdown lines are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week for assistance should you require them.

13 Will I really get a full refund by the end of the next working day if I change my mind?
Yes if you change your mind for any reason at all, we guarantee to refund you by the end of the next working day.

14 How do I access my Driver Guardian account?
In the top right hand corner of our home page, enter your email address and the password you entered when you bought your first product, this will access your account. If you forget your password enter your email address and click ‘forgotten password’ and a new password will be emailed to you.
